The towns of Guardamar, Elche, Mar Menor and Alicante are all well within easy reach where there are excellent beaches and restaurants. For those who like shopping, Alicante is a must.

The front at Torrevieja is also a great place to visit with its hippy market, port and promenade where there are lots of bars and restaurants. There is a casino.
There is also a funfair for the kids to enjoy at night time.
For those wanting to travel a little urther Benidorm is just over an hour away where there is Terra Mitica, Terra Natura,

Aqualandia, & Mundo Mar. This is a lovely location for a holiday
for families and couples alike
