Beautiful ground floor two-bedroom apartment in the town of Puerto de Mazarron.The apartment has a twin bedroom with two single beds, a double bedroom, lounge/dining room and a separate kitchen. Sleeps 4 in comfort.

The kitchen is fully fitted and has ample cupboard space, oven, hob, microwave and washing machine. All necessary linens and towels are provided.
 
The lounge is comfortably furnished with a balcony that offers views of the mountains. Ventilation is provided by traditional, overhead fans. A safe provides secure storage for valuable items.

The apartment is located in a modern, purpose built block
with video phone entry control and disabled access for wheelchair users. It has views of the mountains with sea
views from the communal pool.

Puerto de Mazarron is on the Spanish Costa Calida, approx
90 minutes from Alicante airport and 40 minutes from San Javier Airport. The safe, sandy beach is five minutes walk from the apartment. Puerto de Mazarron is built in a natural bay
with a harbour and rocky coves to the side of the main beach. The beach has been consistently awarded the coveted
Blue Flag status for its high water quality.

The apartment is situated in the town, close to amenities.
The nearby bus station provides  frequent and reasonably priced connections to other parts of Murcia and beyond.
A medical centre, supermarket, internet cafes, restaurants, banks with cash dispensers and good shops are all easily reached. English language newspapers are readily available. There are eighteen golf courses in the area.
The Mazarron area is popular as a holiday destination with
the Spanish. There is a significant ex pat community of
British, Germans and Swedish people.

The Mazarron coast forms part of the Costa Calida
(the warm coast). In some parts, the mountains go right
down to the sea, providing breathtaking panoramas but also forming small, often sandy and secluded coves.
There are numerous beaches, some shingle, some rocky
but mainly sandy including the immense beaches near the port, Bahia and Bolneuvo.
 
The sea is usually around 5 degrees warmer due to the
unique micro climate that Mazarron enjoys. There are two reasons for this; one is the mountain range which surrounds the area and secondly the cooler water currents which enter the Mediterranean from the Atlantic are deflected away from the coastline, leaving the water temperature unaffected and actually permitting diving all year around. The water is
usually clear and the depth of visibility in many places is
often 25-30 metres. Rocky outcrops provide incredible underwater scenery and apart from diving, snorkelling is extremely popular as well.
 
Windsurfing, sailing, diving, whatever your pleasure, Mazarron´s coast provides for all.
 
Leisure activities include fishing, water-sking, canoeing,
jet-sking and windsurfing. Also horse riding, cycling, and
golf, there being 18 golf courses in the area including the
world renown La Manga courses.
