La Marina
is just 20 minutes from Alicante Airport and the
development is very popular with the euopean tourists.
You will always find a good selection of shops, bars,
and
restaurants throughout. There are frequent local bus
service to all local towns, markets as well as a
shuttle bus service to the beach in the summer months.
The area enjoys a fantastic sunny climate, with over
3,000 hours of sunshine a year.
The beaches are of golden sand and are clean and safe,
they offer fun and relaxation for all the family.
Various activities and water sports are available or
just lay back and enjoy the sun.
Recommended places to visit are nearby towns of
Guardamar just 5 mins drive away and has
beautiful beaches, a pine forest and a marina. In
Alicante visit the castle of Santa Barbara and Eusebio
Sempere Museum and stroll along the esplanade on the
sea front.
Other
places of interest is the Terra Mitica, in Benidorm
which is a great day out for all the family with
rollercoasters, water rides and shows etc - a bit like
Alton Towers with the sun (1 hours drive).
