Aquas Nuevas is located not far from the old fishing town of
 Torrevieja, with its bust market on a Friday, restaurants, shops,
 bars, and nearby attractions such as the Aqua Park, and
 beautiful blue flag awarded beaches.
 Recommended beaches are the Playa de Locos and Playa de
 Cura, both are within 20 minutes walk from Torevieja, yet remain
 tranquil and away from the hustle and bustle. It is also only a 30
 minute drive from either Alicante or Murcia international airports.
 
 Close by you can also visit Torrevieja's new shopping centre
 called Habaneras, 3 levels high, and packed with shops galore
 and many a bargain to be had. Next to the Habaneras you also
 have the well know Aqua Park, full for both young and old alike.
 
 For those who are visiting Aquas Neuvas with the family, a nice
 attraction is the Harbour in Torrevieja. Free to visit is the old
 war submarine and Spanish coastguard vessels. You will have
 a guided tour throughout and all free compliments of the Spanish
 government.
 
 Whilst in the harbour, why not go on a boat trip around the
 coast, or visit by boat the island of Tabruc
